The SPSV Music Festival has had four great successes SINCE 2015, building its name as the No.1 brand for classical music in Xi’an, Northwest China. Each time the festival will create a swirl of domestic and international media coverage. Every year, great musicians and professors from all over the world come to Xi’an to teach, to interact with music lovers and also bring high quality performances to our audiences.

Get a 200 RMB fee reduction before May 1st!
After May 1st: 8,550 RMB (1,261 US Dollars) per student (including accommodations and daily three meals)
Before May 1st: 8,350 RMB (1,237 US Dollars) per student (including accommodations and daily three meals)


All participants must submit a copy of their travel plan during the festival to the festival administration office before the festival. Request for special assistance must be applied before July 1st, 2019. All participants are responsible for the traffic expenses incurred by travelling between activity locations and where they stay.

6. Participation in or admission to watch the Students’ Finale Concerts and all public performances;
7. Participation in Sino-Euro and Sino-US Music Art Seminars and other arts activities;
8. Official Certificate of Completion of 2019 Xi’an Master Class;

* Students with no absence record can purchase extra private lessons after getting the consent of the master. Extra Private lesson costs 1500 RMB one session and extra Ensemble Class costs 1800 RMB one session.

Eligible Applicants

Students who are learning piano, strings (violin, viola, cello) winds and voice as their major from all over the world are welcomed. It is required that eligible applicants must have received adequate basic music education, or have passed relevant grading test, or have international competition and performing experiences. Eligible applicants also include graduates, current students of music schools and adults, teachers who are practicing music as a carrer.

*Note: Applicants under 12 years of age must be accompanied by at least one parent or present the Temporary Custodian Authorization Letter.

Refund Policy

·         Absolutely NO deposit refund after July 1st                                   ·         The remaining paid program fee is refundable before July 1st 
·         The remaining paid program fee is refundable at 50% of your payment before June 15th 
·         Cancellation made after June 15th  does NOT entitle to a refund of any kind

Application Materials

1. A completed application form;
2. Two 2-inch passport standard e-image (use your name as the file name);
3. Photocopy of the passport bio page and visa page (if you applicable);
4. A brief CV or performance experience summary, and a repertoire of the applicants’ best pieces;
5. A piece of performance audio or video recording;
6. If you have attended our previous competitions or chamber music performance classes, you must apply and submit the following works to by the deadline of July 1st, 2019:
a. two recordings in different styles or periods which can represent the player’s highest level, regardless of theme (piano) ;
b. a recording of Bach’s unaccompanied sonatas, variations, suite of sonatas or concertos music that can represent player’s techniques (strings and winds).
c. a recording of a classic Italian art song and a recording of an aria in any language (voice)
