Location: Louguan Impression Hotel, Xi’an, Shaanxi
 
Content:  Private Lessons, Master Classes, Chamber Music Classes, International Music Competition and Award, Art Seminar (about Chinese art, European art and American art), Public Performances, Closing Performances, Luoguan Tai Local Tour, Festival Certificate, Festival T-shirt, Summer camp video, Five star hotel, Semi-closed festival management
 
Instruments: Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello, Voice, Flute
 
Application Conditions: The Music Festival welcomes the experienced professional piano, strings (violin, viola, cello), vocal music and flute students from all over the world and provinces in China. Students (include middle school students, college students, and graduate students) should require the basic knowledge of music, or pass the professional grade exam, or study in Art College, or graduate from Art College. If your age is under 12, you are supposed to have your parent as a guardian or your parents need to sign a temporary guardian agreement. We also welcome adults and teachers who engage in the related field.
 
Application Deadline: June 15th, 2017 or Full Quota

  
Application Materials:
          1. A full filled application form
          2. Two 2 inches passport pictures (write the name on the back)
          3. The copy of passport bio page and visa page (if have)
          4. The brief CV or performance experience summary
          5. A piece of performance audio or video recording
          6. If you attend the competition or chamber music performance classes, you must submit the following works to xianmtsy@qq.com:
                a. two recordings which can behalf of the player’s highest level in different styles or periods, no demand of the theme (piano)           
                b. a recording of Bach’s unaccompanied sonatas, variations, suite of sonatas or concertos music that can represent player’s techniques (string and flute).
                c. a recording of classic Italian art song and a recording of an aria in any language (voice)
 
Tuition:     Each Session ¥ 8380RMB ($1215USDollar)/ student              

*The tuition includes all cost of living and eating, class expenses, rehearsal / performance expenses, Luoguan Tai local tour expenses, local travel expenses, accident insurance and other group activities expenses during the time of festival.

Transportation:
Any transportation costs from home to designated location will be responsible by the participants. All participants must submit the travel plan to the festival administration office before the festival. If participants need assistance to make the travel plan, please request as soon as possible. If you need special help, please apply before June 15th, 2017.

Festival Schedule:

July 17th / July 25th
      All participants will gather together in the designated location in Xi’an at 2:30PM, and then head to Luoguan Tai. All participants will check in to the hotel at 4:00PM.

July 18th to July 24th / July 25th to August 1st morning
      The main festival activities will hold in Louguan Tai during the time, including private lessons, master classes, music seminar, music competition, public performances and local tour.

July 24th / August 1st afternoon and evening
      public performances in Xi’an concert hall and Closing performance

July 25th / August 2nd
      dismiss after the breakfast with a short good-bye ceremony.​

*The time schedule above is a reference, the festival committee has the right to adjust the daily schedule based on the real time situation.

           a. movement of any Bach Solo Sonata, Partita or                   Suite
           b. work or etude of transcendental difficulty

Tuition:     $1150 / person
*The tuition includes all cost of living and eating, class expenses, rehearsal / performance expenses, local Phoenix County tour expenses, local travel expenses, accident insurance and other group activities expenses during the time of festival.

Accommodation: 4 star hotels with breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Transportation:
The festival supports local transportations during the time of the music festival after first day call time and any other transportation costs from the original place to designated event location will be responsible by the participants. All participant must submit the travel plan to the festival administration office 10 days before arrival. If participants need assistance to make the travel plan, please request as soon as possible.
 
Festival Schedule:
August 9th 12:00 p.m. – All participants will gather together in the designated location in Xi’an, and then head to Phoenix County. All participants will check in to the hotel when arriving in Phoenix County, and the opening ceremony will be held later in the evening,

August 10th to August 17th  – The main festival activities will hold in Phoenix County during the time, including private lessons, master classes, music seminar, public performances and local tour.

August 17th afternoon – International music competition.

August 18th morning – Leave the phoenix county for Xi’an, and check in to the hotel of Xi’an at noon.

August 18th afternoon and evening – public performances in Xi’an

August 19th – Closing performance with rehearsal

August 20th – dismiss after the breakfast with a short good-bye ceremony.
